Torreya State Park offers a difficult and mountainous, but incredibly rewarding hike that is not at all typical for the normally very flat Florida. Discover all kinds of unique features, including limestone bluffs, overlooks, miniature canyons, and even a waterfall. If you want to combine with a bit of history, visit the Gregory House at the trail’s starting point. Look forward to beautiful views of the Apalachicola River and an impressive landscape of bluffs and ravines. In late spring the magnolia bloom is at peak.
This hike is great for people from the Tallahassee and Panama City area.
